Experience the wild beauty of Mikumi National Park on this exclusive 2-night, 3-day safari from Zanzibar. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and one of East Africa’s most accessible wildlife destinations, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo and hundreds of bird species. This package combines a cultural Masai village experience, two full game drives, comfortable lodge accommodation, and all transfers — available by flight or by boat and road.

Day 1 — Masai Village Tour & Game Drive en Route

We pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport. Your flight departs at 2:30 PM and arrives at Mikumi Airstrip at approximately 3:30 PM, where your private safari driver will be waiting. You begin a game drive en route to the Masai village for an immersive cultural and traditional experience. After the village tour, transfer to your camp or hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 — Full Day Game Drive

Rise early and enjoy breakfast at your lodge from 6:10 AM, then head straight into the park for a full-day game drive. Spend the morning tracking wildlife across Mikumi’s vast plains — elephant herds, giraffe, zebra, lion, and wild dog are all regularly spotted. Break for lunch at the restaurant inside the park, then continue driving until late evening, watching the spectacular African sunset before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 — Morning Game Drive & Departure

One final early morning game drive from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM to catch the best wildlife activity of the day. Your driver then transfers you to the airstrip in time to catch your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving refreshed and full of memories.
